Birthday Party Ideas for girls

If you’re a mom trying to plan a young daughter’s birthday party, here are a few ideas to consider.   They were sent to me by a creative friend who contributed to The Christian Mom’s Idea Book (p. 40-41).

1. Miss Lovely Lady Party

The girls arrived very dressed up.  At the party was a large trunk full of old dresses, hats, furs, purses, etc.  The little girls donned their dream outfits, and we made them up with makeup and perfume and painted their nails.  We then took a Polaroid photo of them, which they took home.

2. Backwards Party

Each child was asked to bring a favorite teddy.  Games were played while holding a teddy bear.  “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” was acted out and read.  A teddy bear cake was eaten.

3. Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Each child was asked to bring a favorite teddy.  Games were played while holding a teddy bear.  “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” was acted out and read.  A teddy bear cake was eaten.

4. A Pink Party

Everyone invited had to wear pink clothes from top to toes.  Pink decorations lined the house.  Pink food was eaten (pink Jello, pink ham sandwiches, pink milk, pink cake, and pink ice cream).  Pink favors were given out.

Maybe in an upcoming blog I’ll include a few ideas for boys . . .

Blessings,

Ellen
